Last week, we looked for Section II's most exciting boys basketball player. This week, we're bringing things to the really local level by asking you who you believe is the top winter sports athlete in Saratoga County. Your choices are:

Demi Feder (Ballston Spa) -- One of Section II's top Alpine skiers, Feder is the leader of the Burnt Hills/Ballston Spa girls team that is going to the state tournament.

Nick Kelley (Shenendehowa) -- There are several quality candidates from Shen's wrestling team for this honor, but Kelley is undefeated this season and a pre-tournament favorite to win the 132-pound title at this weekend's New York State Championships at the Times Union Center.

Alex Luse (Saratoga Springs) -- The senior forward was named the Capital District High School Hockey League Player of the Year after leading the Blue Streaks to the Division I regular season title with 18 goals and 27 assists.

Ryan McVaigh (Ballston Spa) -- One of the dominant forwards in the Suburban Council, McVaigh led the Ballston Spa boys basketball team with a 14.2 points per game average and hauled down rebound after rebound.

Emily Weber (Shen) -- The senior powered the Plainswomen to a share of the Suburban Council North Division girls basketball title with an average of 17 points per game.

Voting will remain open until midnight Monday, and the winner will advance to next week's poll where we will ask who is the top winter sports athlete in the region.
