Thanks to your votes last week, the Saratoga-Shenendehowa hockey series was named the best Section II rivalry. Now, on to this week's sports poll question: what is the toughest high school gym to play basketball in? We've narrowed it down to five choices:
Bethlehem -- It's dark and loud, especially when the fans turn out for a big basketball game.
Christian Brothers Academy -- The Brothers rarely lose in their cozy Colonie confines, where the fans are within shouting distance of the players.
Loudonville Christian School -- Speaking of cozy confines, the home of the Eagles is small, narrow and eardrum-splitting loud.
Scotia-Glenville -- The student section at one end of the bleachers features a pep band, so not only do they get on the nerves of visiting teams, but they also play some sweet music.
Shenendehowa -- Beware of "Gang Green Nation," the large student section that makes a racket at every boys basketball home game and a few key girls basketball games.
Voting is open until midnight Monday, so get your votes in and get your friends involved.
